What to expect while we look after your parrot:
Parrot sitting is tailored to your parrot’s individual species, routine, and personality, helping them feel secure, calm, and comfortable while you’re away. Care includes feeding according to your instructions, fresh water, cage and area maintenance, and enrichment or gentle interaction where welcomed, alongside attentive companionship. I’m experienced in caring for parrots (including rescues), can administer medication when required, and adapt care for shy, nervous, or sensitive birds. Your home and parrot’s space will be respected and kept tidy, and you’ll receive regular updates and photos so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your parrot is happy, safe, and well cared for in familiar surroundings.
Sitter Expectations:
- Sitter will be the only person at the house at all times unless otherwise agreed with the owner
- Clean and tidy house with clean/fresh bedding for sitter
- Safe and secure house for the sitter
- Parrot's food, and care supplies provided
- Basic supplies available for pet sitter eg toilet paper and cleaning products.
- If the owner has a security camera inside or outside the house, they need to disclose this to the sitter
