Dog Behaviour Consultation

Living with a dog who displays challenging behaviour can feel overwhelming, frustrating, and exhausting, but you do not have to face it alone. Our one-to-one behavioural consultations are conducted by an Associate Clinical Animal Behaviourist and are designed to uncover the underlying causes of your dog’s behaviour and provide clear, compassionate, science-based solutions tailored to both your dog and your lifestyle. Whether your dog is experiencing reactivity, aggression, fear, or other behavioural concerns, you will receive expert, professional guidance and personalised support to help you and your dog move forward with confidence.

What’s Included in Your Behaviour Consultation

1. Review of your dog's history – including the information you and your vet provide, along with any additional details we request at booking.

2. One-to-one behavioural consultation – typically up to 3 hours, conducted in your home (or online subject to location). This includes:

  • A thorough assessment of the behaviours causing concern
  • Risk assessment and prognosis
  • An overview action plan to take away on the day

3. Written report – detailing our assessment and recommendations, for both you and your vet

4. Follow-up support – Up to 3 months of unlimited WhatsApp / Email support, plus 3 hours of in-person practical sessions to be used within 3 months of your consultation.

Additional support – if more follow-up is required, this can be arranged and purchased separately.

How It Works

1

Contact Us

Get in touch to discuss your concerns and find out whether a behaviour consultation is the right next step for you and your dog. We’ll talk through the issues you’re experiencing, answer any questions, and explain the process in full so you know exactly what to expect.

2

Contact Your Vet & Fill Out Forms

Before the consultation, you will be asked to complete a detailed behavioural history form and request your pet’s medical history from your vet. This information allows us to gain a full understanding of your pet’s background, health, and behaviour, ensuring the consultation is safe, thorough, and tailored to your specific situation.

3

The Consultation

Once all forms and veterinary information have been received, you’ll be invited to book your behavioural consultation. Once the behavioural consultation has been booked, we request that payment is made at least two weeks before the agreed consultation date. This secures your appointment and allows us to begin the in-depth process of fully preparing for your consultation.
